According to hiphopdx.com, Method Man and Redman are finally finished up in the studio as the duo sets to release the follow up to their 1999 platinum album Blackout.

Blackout 2, which was initially scheduled to drop in 2008, was pushed back numerous times but now a solid release date has been set for this spring. After finishing up the Still High Tour with Termanalogy, the Alchemist and Evidence, Red and Meth finished and set a released date for their highly anticipated sequel.

The Wu-Tang Clan and Def Squad tandem will be releasing Blackout 2 under Def Jam Recordings on April 28th.

Probably the best damn news i’ve heard in a long time.

BONUS: Had a damn hard time finding “Ayo” a song that was leaked a while back and is confirmed on their new album Blackout 2. It’s pretty much taken off of zshare so I dunno how long this new one will last
